The consequences...

...of not shoveling your car for two weeks in Sapporo are severe.

We are leaving for Niseko in the morning for 3 days of skiing!

Here's a picture of us at Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort:

It's a pretty small resort with only 7 trails but it's only about an hour away from Sapporo and is not too packed. The trails were nice and wide and the snow was pretty awesome (all REAL snow!! wow!). Good place to warm up and test our new skis before Niseko! To be honest, the powdery snow was a bit of a challenge for me and it took me awhile to get the hang of my new skis. Dare I say that I might have missed the hard packed and almost icy conditions of tri-state US skiing? Hells, no!
